Current limits

Every source must be a readable application/pdf file.
The combined document is limited to 100 pages.
Owner scope, short-lived artifacts, and idempotency protect repeat calls.

Can an AI agent call the merge tool?

Yes. The same merge_pdfs contract is exposed through the authenticated REST API and Streamable HTTP MCP server.
