Capabilities and limits

The crop rectangle must stay inside the decoded image. Out-of-range coordinates are rejected.
This is a manual crop, not face detection, background removal or passport-photo certification.
DPI and output format can be set separately; the final file is checked against your size rules.

Questions

Can cropping guarantee my ID photo meets official requirements?

No. It can enforce pixel dimensions and size, but pose, lighting and background rules need a visual review against the issuing authority’s requirements.
